International Standards for Testing and Laboratories
The World Anti-Doping Agency has developed international standards to govern the technical and operational aspects of the anti-doping program.
International Standards for Testing and LaboratoriesThe International Standard for Testing articulates the procedures required for sample collection. It includes standards for test distribution planning, notification of athletes, preparing for and conducting sample collection, post-test administration and the transportation of samples.

The International Standard for Laboratories outlines all of the procedures required to ensure valid test results, the production of evidentiary data and to achieve uniform and harmonized results across all accredited laboratories.

These two standards are appended to the Convention along with the World Anti-Doping Code. While these documents are important to international harmonization in the fight against doping in sport, they do not create any binding obligations under international law for governments.
