5.COM - Nairobi, Kenya, 14 November 2010
Organized during 2010, International Year for the Rapprochement of Cultures, the Forum will be held just prior to the fifth session of the Intergovernmental Committee in Nairobi (15 to 19 November 2010), on November 14, 2010. It aims at building capacity and strengthening partnerships among NGOs, particularly those of developing countries, especially in Africa. It also aims to promote greater involvement of civil society in the implementation of the Convention and in the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage.
The Forum will be held at the Kenyatta International Conference Centre from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please be certain to pre-register by using the registration form: English/French.
