Promoting and Enhancing Gender-Sensitive STEM Education for Adolescent Girls to support Gender Equality

The aim is to raise visibility on the importance of promoting gender equality through Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education, with particular focus on adolescent girls’ access to and advancement through STEM education.


A panel discussion will be organized and gather representatives of Member States, international experts, practitioners, and advocates for gender equality and STEM education for adolescent girls. It will be chaired by a high profile female scientist, and participants will be invited to engage in a conversation with the panellists.
