Artículo 9 : Acreditación de las organizaciones de carácter consultivo
Upon recommendation of the Committee, the General Assembly is to accredit non-governmental organizations with recognized competence in the field of the intangible cultural heritage to act in an advisory capacity to the Committee.
The General Assembly already accredited 156 NGOs at its third (97) and fourth (59) session. The General Assembly is now to decide on 22 below listed NGOs wishing to be accredited and which were recommended by the Committee in December 2012 (10 NGOs by Decision 7.COM 16.a) and December 2013 (12 NGOs by Decision 8.COM 14.a).
