Consultative meeting on Intangible Cultural Heritage

On 13 August 2015, the consultative meeting on Intangible Cultural Heritage, organized in Cairo by UNESCO and the Ministry of Culture of Egypt, successfully concluded a series of consultations started in April 2015, with the view to conduct a strategic Needs Assessment in the intangible cultural heritage’s sector. The meeting also served to finalize the project proposal to strengthen national capacity for the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage in the country, which will be later funded by Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority (ADTCA).
