 Agricultural water productivity optimization for irrigated Teff (Eragrostic Tef) in a water scarce semi-arid region of Ethiopia (2015, Ethiopia)

The research has demonstrated the potential and the limitations of combining experimental fieldwork with modelling to optimize agricultural water productivity for Teff cultivation. Focusing on only experimental fieldwork is a single approach, and is hardly ever sufficient for achieving the best solutions to the current water management problems.

The Proceedings of the African Summer School on the Application of Ocean Data and Modelling Products (2014)

The African Summer School on the Application of Ocean Data and Modelling Products was organized by the IOC’s Sub Commission for Africa and the Adjacent Island States with kind support of the Government of Belgium. The IOC’s programmes on the Global Ocean Observing System (GOOS) and the International Oceanographic Data and Information Exchange (IODE) provided support in the development of training materials and identification of resource persons.
