Celebration of World Philosophy Day 2015 in Senegal

World Philosophy Day 2015 will be celebrated at the large amphitheater of the Place of Remembrance of Dakar, in Senegal, on 19 November 2015 . Through the organization of this day, UNESCO intends to highlight the role of philosophy in our daily lives and broaden the discussion to a wider audience.
The event will be organized by UNESCO in partnership with the doctoral school, the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA), philosophers and traditionalists.
The World Philosophy Day should thus help to stage confirmed philosophers and talented traditionalists.
