CIOFF® Photo competition „Heritage, made at home“

01-05-2013/31-12-2013 Tallinn, Põlva, Karksi (Estonia)

CIOFF® Youth Estonia made a project for 4-26 years old children and youth for capturing the heritage in their everyday lives (what they notice around themselves, what has been at their homes for ages, what stories behind the objects they know, what skills they have inherited from their ancestors, etc.). A lot of photos were sent to the competition and together with the museums the winners were selected. 25 pieces are travelling now around Estonia as an itinerant exhibition. The project got funding from the budget of the theme year. Event was supported by the theme year funds (http://www.parandiaasta.ee/ ). Different museums in Estonia (sponsorship for prizes), Estonian Open Air Museum, Haljala and Karksi Cultural Centres, Põlva Youth Centre, (Hosted the exhibition)
