Interregional workshop of Russian ASPnet at IITE

On January 17th, 2014 in the framework of interregional workshop of Russian ASPnet “UNESCO Associated Schools as a Factor Contributing to Quality Education” the delegation of 25 directors and teachers of ASPnet schools from Republic Sakha (Yakutia) has visited UNESCO IITE.

The Workshop was organized jointly by the ASPnet National Coordinating Center of Russian Federation , ASPnet Regional Coordination Center  “Moscow”, ASPnet Regional coordination Center “Sakha-East” and UNESCO IITE. During visit of the Yakut delegation besides a presentation of the IITE two lectures were provided by Prof. Alexander Khoroshilov, IITE National Programme Officer (IITE-ASPnet Cooperaton: goals, tasks, projects”) and by Dr. Natalia Tokareva, IITE Senior Specialist (“Perspectives of IITE-ASPnet cooperation in the field of ICT for primary and inclusive education”). Also, the Q&A session was organized by IITE staff along with discussion of the perspectives of further development of the cooperation between IITE, ASPnet in the framework of the IITE-ASPnet Pilot Project “Learning For the Future” (LFF) and IITE-MoE of Republic Sakha (Yakutia) project “Teachers of the Arctic”. The other points of the Workshop agenda were organized in the Moscow ASPnet School  #1411. All participants of the Workshop were awarded by certificates of attendance.
