III International Conference "Innovations in Information Technologies and Education"

The III International scientific and practical conference "Innovations in Information Technologies and Education" (ITE – Moscow – 2014) took place on the basis of the Russian State Humanitarian University on December 4 - 5, 2014. UNESCO IITE was one of the organizers of the Conference.

The purpose of the conference was to discuss new scientific approaches and practical achievements in the process of evolution of educational technologies under the impact of information systems. Representatives of the leading academic and research institutions and leading IT companies presented papers on international research projects and international trends, as well as on innovative technologies in Russian education.

The programme of the conference included workshops and seminars on emerging issues of informatization of education, trainings on application of mobile technologies and master classes on software and web services. The results of the IV International competition of pedagogical skills on application of e-learning resources in educational process The formula of future – 2014 were concluded by the award of prizes to winners.

The UNESCO IITE programme specialist Ms. Natalia Amelina took part in the event with a welcome address on behalf of the UNESCO IITE Officer-in-Charge Prof. A. V. Khoroshilov, and presentation "ICT and professional development of teachers".
