Garyounis University

In 1981, an Agreement was signed between UNESCO and the Garyounis University. Both institutions agreed that UNESCO caries out specific activities on behalf of the University on a fund-in-trust basis. Within the framework of this cooperation, UNESCO will provide the following services of rrocurement of equipment, organizing training activities for Libyan specialists and technicians and appointing a resident expert as well as to provide any other services which may agreed upon between UNESCO and the University.
