How to partner with UNESCO

There are many ways to partner with UNESCO around shared priorities:

  • Strategic Partnerships

Partners can engage with UNESCO through a strategic partnership based on joint arrangements for planning and monitoring cooperation which may cover one or more priority themes, or geographic focus areas, and which can span several years.

  • Self-standing programmes and projects

Partners can identify a single project or programme as the focus of cooperation

  • Secondment of experts

Partners can give visibility to their own national, or institutional expertise and foster networking and knowledge exchange by seconding experts to UNESCO.

  • In-kind contributions

Partners can contribute directly to projects by sharing their relevant resources and expertise, or by making available their facilities.
