Kenneth Barrientos

Programme Officer

Ken joined UNESCO-UNEVOC in September 2013 as Programme Officer. She is responsible in assisting the Head of Office in program and project development, implementation, reporting, monitoring and supporting program-related and thematic strategies.

Prior to joining, Ken worked with the Asia-Pacific Education for Innovation and Development (APEID) Programme of UNESCO Asia-Pacific Regional Bureau for Education in Bangkok, Thailand as Programme Assistant involved in the design and implementation of ICT in education programmes and projects, research, supporting project M&E; and events organization. She worked with the Colombo Plan Staff College for Technician Education (CPSC) in Manila, Philippines involved in management, policy development, publications and programme-oriented functions in TVET. She has also rich experience working with the government and the private sectors in the Philippines. She holds a Master degree in Public Administration and Bachelor degree in Development Communication.
