UNESCO-UNEVOC hosts Expert Meeting in Bonn, Germany

From 17 to 19 November, 30 UNEVOC cluster and centre coordinators, from UNEVOC centres in 26 countries met in Bonn, Germany, to discuss the development of tools and activities intended to further improve the UNEVOC Network. One of the key messages from the meeting was the need to promote more collaboration and more collective approaches to UNEVOC network activities.

UNEVOC Centre hosts International Symposium on TVET Personnel in Magdeburg, Germany

On the 25 and 26 November, 2015, 90 experts convened at an international Symposium on TVET for sustainable development in Magdeburg, Germany. The symposium discussed developments and opportunities with regards to the professionalisation of TVET personnel in international cooperation.

NITTTR unveils capacity development programme in bio-technology in agriculture

The National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research (NITTTR) in Kolkata, India, in collaboration with the Vivekananda Institute of Bio-technology (VIB), Nimpith, have unveiled a capacity development programme for trainers in utilising bio-technology in agriculture for the rural youth.
