EMAP - E-Network on Educational Planning & Management

Within the framework of UNESCO’s support to national education strategies, especially for achieving Education for All goals by 2015, UNESCO's Education Sector proposes a virtual network on Educational Planning and Management, called E-MAP.

E-MAP aims to:

Promote the exchange of expertise and research in educational planning and management between UNESCO and Members States;
Create an international platform for exchange between researchers and practitioners in educational planning and management;
Reinforce the institutional capacities of Members States in the field of educational planning and management;
Promote South-South cooperation in this field.

E-MAP offers:

Three databases accessible in three languages: English, French and Spanish

A directory of nationally and/or internationally known experts
A directory of national, regional and international institutions offering technical assistance, training and research in education planning and management
An accessible user-space for resources to be uploaded and downloaded for use

E-MAP also offers a discussion forum promoting live dialogue through the members of the E-MAP community of practice

You can also have the opportunity to register as an expert or institution on the rosters and/or submit documents for consultation by the E-MAP community.
