eNRICH is a generic and yet easily customizable browser, created by UNESCO and the National Infomatics Center of India, that acts as a gateway to a community's own world of knowledge, communication and empowerment.

eNRICH enables communities to quickly and efficiently build their own gateway website, enriched their own local content and connected to knowledge sources and services that are tailored according to their own information and communication needs.

eNRICH comprises two main components viz:

- A Desk Manager User Interface (DMUI). It is a browser based site asministration and analysis tool for managers and reaserchers. It is used to specify the knowledge resources and services that should be provided to the community users, to interact with the community members and render the community browser more relevant and to moderate the contents and messages uploaded by community users.

- A Community Browser Interface (CBUI). This Interface will be used by the community members to access various knowledge and services made available locally and on Internet, to upload content in the local database on community specific information, to learn through multiple media, to communicate their information and communication needs.

Runtime requirements:

Intel Pentium III or higher compatible processor
RAM: 128 MO
Fard Disk: 8 GO
Software: Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000 Server, windows XP sever, Windows Porfessional or Windows XP Professional
Webserver: IIS 5.0 and above
