Asma Zubairi

Research Officer 

Asma Zubairi joined the Report Team in June 2012. Previously she held the position of research and policy analyst within the consultancy team at Development Initiatives based in the UK, working on issues relating to development finance and their contribution to poverty alleviation in developing countries. Between October 2005 and January 2009, Asma worked with the Ministry of Education in Malawi as both a budget and policy officer, initially as part of the 2-year Overseas Development Institute Fellowship scheme, and later as part of an extension. Asma has an undergraduate degree from the School of Oriental and African Studies in Development Economics and a Masters degree in Global Political Economy from the University of Sussex.
