People with Disabilities and ICT

The use of ICT in and for education is now seen worldwide as both a necessity and an opportunity.
  • ICTs offer individuals the ability to compensate for physical or functional limitations, to access knowledge by adapting digital media to the nature of their disabilities, and to enhance their social and economic integration in communities.
  • This pilot training programme carried out in cooperation with the Ability Foundation of India seeks to promote equal opportunities for persons with hearing and physical impairments enter the employment sector.
