Implementation of the International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED 2011) in Asia and the Pacific

In view of implementing the new revision of ISCED (ISCED2011) for collection and dissemination of education statistics, the main activities of the project will include 1) revision of the UIS questionnaires and database; 2) developing and dissemination of the guidelines/support materials for the Member States; 3) training, advice and support to the national statisticians. The project will cover the entire Asia-Pacific region with a specific focus on those most in need of statistical capacity building, including: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan and Timor Leste, Vietnam, DP Republic of Korea, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea
