    South Asian Consultation on UNESCO's Model Curricula for Journalism Education is taking place in India
    The Department of Communication of the University of Hyderabad, in collaboration with UNESCO, is organizing a three-day international consultation on Model Curricula for Journalism from 7 to 9 March 2008 in Hyderabad, India. This consultation is intended to discuss the adaptability of the curricula recently developed by UNESCO.

    Librarians and information professionals from nine Caribbean countries attended the Caribbean E-Librarianship Workshop in Belize City, Belize, from 20 to 22 February 2008. It was organized by UNESCO and the Belize National Library and Information Systems. The Workshop reviewed contemporary ICT concepts, platforms and their applications in the library system via lecture-type presentations and demonstrations.
