BTEB conducts and controls examinations in the TVET system, develops curriculum, conducts research work for curriculum development and conducts regular orientation training programmes for TVET teachers. Responsibility of the BTEB UNEVOC centre is to provide academic and other supports to UNESCO-UNEVOC activities whenever it is held in the board and organize seminars/workshops in collaboration with Bangladesh national commission UNESCO (BNCU) for TVET teachers. It also maintains Liaison with most of the UNEVOC centres of the UNESCO member states in respect of curriculum development, their training system and other current issues and programmes, in TVET arena.
