ICT in Education

The use of ICT in and for education is now seen worldwide as both a necessity and an opportunity.
  • The UNESCO project “Educational Radio and TV Centre in Kabul (Afghanistan)” consist in completely upgrading and rehabilitating distance education services in Afghanistan.
  • The United Nations, through the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and the UNESCO Education for All (EFA), World Summit for the Information Society (WSIS) and Literacy Decade initiatives, has set a high priority on the improvement of education world-wide.
