Conference on Culture and ICT to Open in Moscow

Museums, libraries, archives experts and specialists in intangible heritage preservation will meet next week at the Sixth International Electronic Imaging & Visual Arts (EVA) Conference at the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow, Russian Federation. The theme of the UNESCO sponsored Conference is "Information for all: Culture and Information Society Technologies".
The Conference will discuss strategic issues, international programmes and projects, international co-operation, ICT in museums, libraries, archives and in the area of intangible heritage; access to digital cultural and scientific heritage, education, culture and ICT, as well as ICT and contemporary art.

The Conference that is organized by the European Commission and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation is supported by the Ministry of Science and Technologies of the Russian Federation, the UNESCO Moscow Office, the Russian Committee of UNESCO's “Information for All Programme", the Russian Committee of the International Council on Monuments and Sites (ICOMOS) and the Russian Foundation for Fundamental Researches.
