استاذ التاريخ في كلية الآداب في بنغازي ، ليبيا. وهو حاصل على شهادة البكالوريوس في التاريخ من جامعة ليبيا 1969 ، ماجستير في التاريخ 1972 جامعة إنديانا في الولايات المتحدة. والدكتوراه. في التاريخ 1976 جامعة ولاية يوتا ، الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية. كان عضو في لجنة كلية الآداب 1977-1979 ، عضو في جامعة قاريونس اللجنة العليا 1977-1979 ، رئيس مجلس البحوث التابع لكلية الآداب 1977-1980 وعضو مجلس إدارة مركز البحوث ، جامعة قاريونس 1977 -1980 ، رئيس تحرير مجلة كلية الآداب ، 1976 ، عضو في هيئة تحرير مجلة Buhut آل Tarikhiya ، الذي نشره مركز الدراسات الليبية طرابلس ، مدير مشروع لإعادة كتابة التاريخ الليبي أثناء الاحتلال الإيطالي منذ عام 1976 عضو مجلس محافظي معهد الدراسات للإنسانيات القيم ، أكرا ، غانا ، عضو اللجنة العلمية الدولية لصياغة التاريخ العام لأفريقيا ، ورئيس اللجنة العلمية الدولية لمشروع من جوانب مختلفة من الثقافة الإسلامية ، وعضو للخطة العربية التي ترعاها اليونسكو. المؤلف من حوالي 25 دراسات في التاريخ. منذ عام 1998 ، هو مندوب جمعية الدعوة الإسلامية العالمية لمنظمة اليونسكو

Educated in Jerusalem, Cairo and London, with a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering.

He was Dean of Engineering, President of the University of Aleppo, and Minister of Petroleum, Electricity and Mineral Resources in Damascus. He established in 1974 the Institute for the History of Arabic Science at the University of Aleppo, and was its first Director. He was for some years Visiting Professor at the Department for the History and Philosophy of Science, University College, London, and Visiting Professor at the Department of Middle East and Islamic Studies, University of Toronto. He is an Associate of the Institute for the History and Philosophy of Science and Technology at the University of Toronto. He is an editor of the Journal for the History of Arabic Science, a past member of the Advisory Committee of the United Nations University, Tokyo, a Chevalier of the Legion d’Honneur, France, a Corresponding Member of the International Academy for the History of Science, and a Corresponding Member of the Iraqi Academy. He has written, edited and published several books and monograms.

Professor I.I. Nawwab

Ismail Ibrahim Nawwab’s career has spanned the academic and corporate worlds.  He studied in his birthplace, Makkah, and in England and Scotland, where he graduated from the University of Edinburgh and pursued postgraduate studies in education. Subsequently he taught at the University of Edinburgh and the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He then joined ARAMCO, a petroleum corporation, where he rose to the position of a general manager and founded a state-of-the art oil and gas museum with a unique interactive section on the Arabic-Islamic technical heritage. In 1999, he co-edited The Nance Museum : A Traditional Journey into Saudi Arabia.

Professor Zafar Ishaq Ansari

Zafar Ishaq Ansari is presently the Director General of the Islamic Research Institute and the International Islamic University, Islamabad.  He holds a Masters and Ph.D. degrees from McGill University, Montreal Canada. He taught at the University of Karachi, Princeton University, King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia and International Islamic University, Islamabad.

He edits Islamic Studies and is a member of the editorial board of Journal of Islamic Studies, American Journal of Islamic Social Sciences, Journal of Muslim Minority Affairs, Journal of Qur’anic Studies and Studies in Contemporary Islam.

He is also a member of the international scientific committee appointed by UNESCO for the academic supervision of its 6-volume series on various aspects of Islamic Culture, and is one of two editors of its first volume, The Foundations of Islam.

He has contributed a number of research articles to journals of international repute and to Encyclopaedia Britannica and Encyclopaedia of Religions.

He has also edited and translated Sayyid Abul Ala Mawdudi’s Tafhim al-Quran under the title "Towards Understanding of the Qur’an".

Professor H.A. Mukti Ali

Former Minister of Religious Affairs of the  Republic of Indonesia and Former Member of  the  Supreme Advisory Council of the Republic of Indonesia, Professor Mukti Ali is currently , Professor of Comparative Religion, State Institute of Islamic Studies in I.A.I.N. He is a member of the Sunan Kalijaga, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, the National Research Council of Indonesia, the Academy of Jakarta, the International Scientific Committee of the Work on the Different Aspects of Islamic Culture, UNESCO and member of the Advisory Board to the Hijra Council, to write 100 books on Islam.
