JavaIsis Client
JAVAISIS 3.0 Client has been designed to look and behave as close as possible to the standard Winisis, the Windows version of CDS/ISIS. In this way, using JAVAISIS Client requires pratically no learning efforts from Winisis users.
The actions you may perform on a database (browsing, search, update) are decided by the Server. Not all databases allow you to update them. This is a basic but necessary security option to protect the data consistency. A password protection feature can also be implemented.
Due to the fact that JAVAISIS deals with remote databases, before opening a database, you must select and connect a JAVAISIS Server. The Open command from the menu "Database" will show you the list of available servers.
