Virtual universities
Promoting reflection through sharing information

Originally, this section of the site provided only a list of links to virtual universities, which could be sorted alphabetically, by model or by country. This page now contains links to over 100 virtual universities around the world – and continues to be updated regularly.

The section has now been expanded with the addition of a page of references to share links to research and publications related to the virtual university and e-learning. The content of this page will depend on your input, so please send links to references you find useful and comments to virtual.university@iiep.unesco.org. And, of course, please continue to suggest additions to the virtual universities links page.
