Three new contributions to the Fund from Monaco, Mexico and India

The International Fund for Cultural Diversity has just received three new contributions:

USD 26 525.20 from Monaco on 1st June 2010
USD 71 208.00 from Mexico on 7 June 2010
USD 17 434.99 from India on 15 June 2010

These new contributions bring the total amount of the contributions to the fund to 2 575 079, 71 USD   as of 16 June 2010.

The Intergovernmental Committee for the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions has decided that 70% of the total funds available in the IFCD as of 1 July 2010 will be used to finance projects/programmes during the 2010-2011 period.
