Equatorial Guinea ratifies the 1970 Convention

Equatorial Guinea ratifies the 1970 Convention on the Means of Prohibiting and Preventing the Illicit Import, Export and Transfer of Ownership of Cultural Property.

On 17 June 2010, Equatorial Guinea deposited to the Director General of UNESCO, Ms Irina Bokova, its instrument of ratification of the 1970 Convention on the Means of Prohibiting and Preventing the Illicit Import, Export and Transfer of Ownership of Cultural Property.

Pursuant to Article 21, the Convention entered into force with respect to Equatorial Guinea three months after the deposit of its instrument of ratification (17 September, 2010).
