Partnership Development for World Heritage Conservation 

This meeting, held in conjunction with the annual session of the World Heritage Committee, features "The PACT for World Heritage conservation: five years of innovative partnership development". 

Three discussion panels will cover the following themes:

  • providing technical expertise;
  • building capacity for World Heritage, and
  • enhancing World Heritage communication.

Mr Francesco Bandarin, Director of the UNESCO World Heritage Centre, will open the meeting with an address on the PACT, followed by a presentation of World Heritage films and initiatives undertaken to increase the partnership development capacity of the Centre.

All of the 192 UNESCO Permanent Delegations have been invited and  approximately 26 partners will participate in the panels.
