Statistics on Cultural Industries: Framework for the Elaboration of National Capacity Building Projects

Guide for the elaboration and implementation of tailor-made national projects to collect and analyze statistical data on creativity in general and cultural industries in particular

This publication was produced as part of an inter-agency project to promote cultural industries in the Asia-Pacific region as a strategy for poverty reduction and community regeneration.

Representatives of the Global Alliance participated in several expert meetings to develop this new framework together with colleagues from the UNESCO Institute of Statistics (UIS), UN Development Programme (UNDP), UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
