29th Annual ALTA Conference (Seattle/Bellevue, WA , USA)

Scandinavia Meets Asia in the Pacific Northwest

The theme of the 2006 conference has been chosen to reflect the primary cultural poles of the Pacific Northwest:  the descendants of the Scandinavian settlers who were the first Europeans to populate the region and the more recent (but well-established) influx from the Asian Pacific Rim. As always, however, the program will not be limited to events tied to the theme. All ideas and contributions will be warmly encouraged.
