UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage Awards for Culture Heritage Conservation 

The Jury of the 2007 Awards is meeting to examine 25 entries from 10 countries in the Asia-Pacific region. 
The selection process will be conducted by a panel of international experts in heritage conservation, architecture, urban planning and landscape design.

Entries are judged on the basis of several factors including sensitivity to the cultural, social, historical and architectural significance of the building and the use of appropriate building and artisan techniques and materials. The entries’ contribution to the cultural and historical continuum of the community will also be taken into account by the panel..
