Age, gender and performer employment in Europe – Study published by the International Federation of Actors (FIA)

This study aims to establish an overview of how gender and aging impact on the employment conditions of performers

Launched in the European Parliament in January 2009, this study is the outcome of the International Federation of Actors’ project (FIA):‘Changing gender portrayal: promoting employment opportunities for women in the performing arts’, carried out in 2008. 
The study was financially supported by the European Commission.
