World Observatory on the Social Status of the Artist

Member States of UNESCO and specialized NGOs in artistic fields have been contacted and replied to a survey, the aim of which was to collect information on the social and fiscal status of artists; on international standards and national laws regulating this status; their rights; and their international mobility.
