Objectives

• To promote an integrated system of research, training, information and documentation in the field of women, water, natural sciences and technology, social sciences, to the implementation of the Millennium Developing Goals.
• To contribute to the struggle against poverty through the improvement of accessibility to safe drinking water in a sustainable way, improving women's status and involvement of people in the management of their affairs.
• To facilitate collaboration between high-level, internationally recognized researchers and teaching staff of the Center and UNESCO Chairs’ international network “Women, Sciences, Technology and Water”, in particular in Argentina, Sudan, Burkina Faso, Morocco and Brazil.
