Objectives

The specific objectives of this Chair are to:

  • increase the skills, capacity, networks and potential leaders and prospective water managers and policy makers, through a coordinated suite of hydroinformatic modules addressing key issues in integrated water resource management using the ecohydrology approach;
  • strengthen and sustain institutional capacity by providing a platform for collaboration and institutional development via professional courses, student exchanges, professional internships and flexible learning;
  • develop tools, case studies and insights on ecohydrology that extend global knowledge and support integrated water resources management.
