How do I obtain an access badge to UNESCO premises?

The Office of badges (ext. 81234) is located on the ground floor of the Fontenoy Building (R.015) and is responsible for issuing access badges to UNESCO premises upon presentation of an official document indicating the status of the applicant and stamped by the Protocol Unit. It is a magnetic card which features a photo taken on site. It allows cross "unguarded passages" and access during scheduled hours at various locations on the premises of the Organization.

It is mandatory to wear this badge at all times.

Note: Spouses of delegates are entitled to a non-magnetic courtesy badge that allows access to the premises without presenting identification, while still undergoing security controls.
