Education Worldwide

UNESCO is a worldwide network with headquarters in Paris (France) and 52 field offices, as well as six Institutes and two Centres which specialize in education. The Sector also works closely with the Institute for Statistics.

UNESCO contributes to the creation of sustainable societies by accelerating progress towards the Education for All goals while helping Member States to build their human and institutional capacities in the field of education.

UNESCO Regional Bureaux specialized in Education

UNESCO Member States are grouped, or clustered, in order to be served by a global network of 52 multi-disciplinary Cluster Offices, National Offices, and Liaison offices. In addition, UNESCO has four Regional Bureaux dedicated to education, along with specialized Institutes and Centres
