Linguistic versions of the Hague Convention and its Protocol of 1954

Authoritative Texts

The official texts of the 1954 Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict and its 1954 Protocol were drawn up in English, French, Russian and Spanish, these four texts being equally authoritative.

National Translations

Some of the High Contracting Parties translated those instruments into their national languages. These translations were provided by Member States for information and do not commit the Organization.
