Regional Meeting on Arts Education in the European Countries, Canada and the United States of America

"Arts in Education – Cooperation over borders"

    The Regional Meeting on Arts Education in the European Countries Canada and the United States of America was organised by UNESCO and the International Drama/Theatre and Education Association (IDEA) of Finland. The congress was focused on the theme “How to use drama, theatre, dance, music and visual arts in young people’s education in collaboration with refugees and immigrants”.

    The aim of the meeting was especially to find new ways to benefit and learn from the peaceful coexistence with the different artistic and cultural backgrounds and knowledge that are presented by refugees and immigrants in European countries, USA and Canada.
