Regional Policy Fora on Open Educational Resources

In order to raise global awareness for the June 2012 Open Educational Resources Congress, UNESCO and the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) hold a number of Regional Policy Forums on Open Educational Resources in all UNESCO regions.

Their purpose were threefold:

  • to profile Open Educational Resources activities in the region;
  • to obtain further details about government Open Educational Resources policies or intentions and,
  • to seek input to the Declaration that will be presented to the World Open Educational Resources Congress in June 2012.

The Regional Policy Forums were scheduled as follows:

Anglophone Caribbean

24-26 January 2012, Barbados
