Partners

Since its launch, the UNESCO Engineering Initiative has worked with partners on a variety of activities across the world. These activities have targeted UNESCO’s global priorities of Africa and Gender Equality and they have advanced the UNESCO Engineering Initiative’s four mandates: engineering education, youth and women, sustainable engineering and renewable and alternative energies. Each of these partners has a global focus on promoting engineering for the benefit of societies. Through joint activities, the UNESCO Engineering Initiative and our partners have the opportunity to work collaboratively to solve contemporary challenges, particularly, the decreasing enrolment of engineers and its consequences for the socio-economic development of societies.
