Support NordMAB’s students to become new ambassadors for sustainable development in their community

NordMAB’s Students on Ice is part of a broad Nordic cooperation effort taking place between territories that share a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve designation and common values. The project fosters a sense of belonging among Nordic countries, with a particular focus on youth, and involves participants from six Nordic countries: Canada, Denmark (Greenland), Estonia, Finland, Norway and Sweden.

The annual three-year project aims to provide one or two young people from each participating country with the opportunity to join the Students on Ice Arctic Expedition, starting in the summer of 2015. This experience will expand their knowledge of the changing circumpolar world, foster a new understanding and respect for the planet, and inspire and motivate them to work collaboratively towards a healthy and sustainable future.

To make this project possible, a crowd-funding campaign has been launched. We encourage you to support this project with a donation.
