Austria: Which education for all? The learning from the Education for All process: Presentation of the Education For All Global Monitoring Report 2013/14

Launch of Global Monitoring Report 2013/14 in Austria and discussion on quality and equity in education

 

2 April 2014 - Vienna, Austria

The event aims to present the Education for All Global Monitoring Report 2013/14 “Teaching and Learning: Achieving quality for all” to the general public and to discuss – based on the findings of the report – quality and equity in education in Austria and beyond.  

The report will be presented by Asma Zubairi, of the Global Monitoring Report Team. The participants of the panel discussion are Gottfried Biewer (University of Vienna), Barbara Falkinger (Teacher), Asma Zubairi (EFA GMR Team), Andrea Schmölzer (Federal Ministry for Education and Women’s Affairs), Reinhold Gruber (Federal Ministry for Europe, Integration and Foreign Affairs).

 

 

 

The launch of the EFA GMR is organised by Austrian Research Foundation for International Development in cooperation with the Austrian Commission for UNESCO, the Federal Ministry of Education and Women's Affairs, the Paulo Freire Zentrum, Dreikönigsaktion, Hilfswerk der Katholischen Jungschar as well as financial support of the Development Agency organise an event to present the report in Austria. Secondly, based on the findings of the report, the event aims to discuss quality and equity in education.
