UNESCO event to discuss “How Youth Drive Change”

UNESCO Youth Forum on “How Youth Drive Change” will take place at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France from 18 to 20 October 2011.

Student engagement, social innovation, democracy, youth employment, conflict and sustainable development are among the issues that will be discussed on the floor of the 7th UNESCO Youth Forum.

The Director of UNESCO’s Regional Office for Education in Africa, Ann-Therese Ndong Jatta, will be among the personalities attending the Forum, side by side of the hundreds of young people.

Participants include UNESCO Goodwill Ambassadors, Forest Whitaker and Nizan Guanaes, with youth activists and peace promoters like Gigi Ibrahim, Egyptian blogger and activist, and Spanish Indignado, Andrés Villena, in plenary debates, cultural events and musical concerts.
