Communication and Information

    The aim of the programme is to foster free flow of ideas and universal access to information; to promote freedom of expression, pluralism and cultural diversity in African media and information networks; to improve access to information and communication technologies in particular in the public sector.

    In order to promote equal access of all to ideas and knowledge and real participation in the democratic processus, BREDA carries out activities based on following lines of action:

    • Developing capacity in communication;

    • Promoting free information flow;

    • Promoting access to information and
    communication, irrespective of age, race, or sex.
