Olav Vogt Engeland represents the International Board of the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA). ELSA is the world’s largest organization of its kind with more than 40 000 members in 43 countries. The vision of ELSA is “A Just world in which there is respect for human dignity and cultural diversity” and their main function is to contribute to legal education through activities such as legal research, law schools, moot court competitions and traineeship opportunities. Olav is originally from Oslo where he pursued his law degree and he is now based in ELSA’s Headquarters in Brussels.
