The strategic goal of this programme is to support the Ministry of Education in rebuilding, developing and modernizing the national education system through different project areas:

• Secondary Education with three sub-components (Curriculum Development for Grades 7-12;
  
  
• Computerization of Secondary Education Examinations and Transcripts;
  
  
• Capacity building for Secondary Education Supervisors in the MoE and Provinces);
  
  
• Curriculum Reform for Vocational and Technical Education;
  
  
• Expansion of Islamic Education Curriculum;
  
  
• Continuation of LAND Afghan Literacy Project;
  
  
• Counseling and Guidance System for Secondary Education;
  
  
• Capacity Building for the Planning Department;
  
  
• Monitoring and Evaluation.
