Description
In the context of the conservation of the site, two Italian experts carried out a mission to Sudan in February 2005 to implement a training programme on condition assessment and conservation techniques for the mural paintings of the Mut Temple at Gebel Barkal for the staff of NCAM. This mission also elaborated a detailed project, including budget breakdown, for a comprehensive conservation of these paintings (Giantomassi & Meucci 2005).
