Get involved in shaping the 9th UNESCO Youth Forum!

The 9th UNESCO Youth Forum approaches and UNESCO invites you – young women and men from across the world – to join us and take part in its preparations!

As every two years since 1999, UNESCO organizes a Youth Forum this year to bring the Organization’s work and realities of youth and youth organizations closer to each other.

The 9th UNESCO Youth Forum will take place from 26 to 28 October 2015 at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, with a special focus on the theme “Young Global Citizens for a Sustainable Planet”.

The first step in its preparations is the launch of an on-line questionnaire to shape the specific thematic agenda of the Forum.

By this means, UNESCO wishes to provide young people an opportunity to define the Forum’s sub-themes within UNESCO’s mandate and around the two following thematic areas:

  • Young global citizens in a post-2015 world; and
  • Young global citizens addressing climate change.

The questionnaire, open to all engaged active young women and men up to the age of 35, can be found at https://fr.surveymonkey.com/s/9UYFthemes.

You can participate until Monday 13 April 2015, 9 a.m. (GMT +2).

For any questions, please contact the UNESCO Youth Programme at youth(at)unesco.org.
